Teeth that are decayed or have cavities can be effectively restored with white (or “composite”) fillings.
Made of a resin base, composite fillings are durable, can be coloured in various shades to match your existing teeth, and because they are easily bonded to teeth surfaces, only a small amount of drilling is needed to prepare original teeth.
In special cases, your dentist may use a special composite that releases fluoride over time, giving your teeth the added protection to fight against decay.
FILLINGS
Fillings are normally completed in a single visit. Our dentist will first remove any decay and thoroughly clean the affected teeth. They will then apply the composite filling in thin layers, setting each with a purpose-made light, until the filling is complete and can be shaped to your bite. Once the filling is complete, you are able to drink and eat normally.
A better smile and a healthier mouth are easy to achieve.
